May the New Year bring a fresh awakening to our spirits and a renewed commitment to our faith, especially as some conclude their fasting. As Christians, may we rise stronger and more united, our eyes fixed on our soon-coming King. May this be the year of Pentecost, characterized by an extraordinary outpouring of God’s presence in the lives of all His children.

We must give up our old way’s of doing thing’s that does not bring honor to God and yield to the Holy Spirit. We must render obedience to the Lord.

The light God has given us through His word must be shared to give hope and encouragement to those we encounter.

May our deeds intentions be to glorify God. Sometimes our action’s may look like good deeds to men but our hearts have other motives that are far from the will of God. Our obedience to God brings hope and healing to the oppressed. He sends us out as witnesses to the world sharing the Gospel of truth.

Romans 2:5-11King James Version

But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
