Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Father in Heaven we thank you for choosing us! We thank you for Jesus dying on the cross for our sins! I thank you for Jesus and the power of his resurrection. Lord I know you did not save us to sit down and do nothing with the gifts you have given us. May we use our gifts and talents to go and bring forth fruit. May our labor of love not be in vain seeking to glorify our selves may our acts of service bring glory to your name. Through weary days may we serve you. When are hearts are filled with joy may we serve you. When our nights are long may we go down on our knees in prayer and ask for grace and endurance so that we may do greater service for you Father. May the love of Christ be what motivates us to serve not our own merits. So many are doing good deeds to earn favor with men to build careers and be put in positions and I lift them up to you Lord praying that their hearts will turn from unfruitful ways and turn to you. May the service we do be motivated by our genuine love for Jesus. Lord tonight I pray for those who are using their gifts and talents to serve you. I pray that you bless them to do greater works. I pray that their fruit will remain. This is my prayer in Jesus name, Amen.
